Relaxed, practical lessons from a working producer and touring guitarist, built around the music you actually want to play or make.

Everything artists ask before booking
Where is La Vie Studio?
Fieldgate House, Fieldgate Road, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 8JJ. Parking is available on Fieldgate Road.
What does the studio cost?
Studio time is £50 an hour or £250 for a full day. The live room is £50 an hour or £200 a day for filmed performances, content capture and rehearsals. Productions, mixes and EP or album projects are priced per project.
Do you offer mixing and mastering?
Yes. A mix and master for a finished track is £350, in the studio or remotely. Send your stems from anywhere in the world.
Can you work with me remotely?
Yes. Mixing, mastering and some production services are available remotely for artists anywhere in the UK or internationally.
What's the turnaround?
Full productions typically take 7 to 14 days, and there are only two full-production slots a month so nothing is rushed.
Can you film the session?
Yes. The live room is set up for filmed performances, live takes and session content, and audio can be captured alongside so the performance sounds finished, not just documented.
What genres do you work in?
Mostly indie and alt-pop, alt R&B, pop-rock, singer-songwriter and cinematic pop, but the studio works across a wide range of genres.
